Cover them with water and cook at medium heat for 15 minutes, or until they are soft.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Once the tomatoes and peppers are cooked, place them in your blender along with the garlic clove. No water is needed, unless your tomatoes are not juicy, in which case add \u00bc cup of water. Process to form a smooth sauce. Set aside.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div><span class=\"ctaText\">READ ALSO:<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<span class=\"postTitle\">Slow Cooker Chili Recipe<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Heat the oil in a large skillet and saut\u00e9 the chopped onion for 3 minutes. Pour the sauce in and cook for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Drain the chicharrones and add to the sauce. Season with salt, and add the cilantro spring. Add vegetable shortening and mix well with dry ingredients<br \/>\n3. Add warm water until you get a dough consistency<br \/>\n4. Let it rest inside a Ziploc bag for at least 1 hour before making them.<br \/>\n5.
